The flowers were gorgeous! The recipient sent me some pics. Heather is amazing! She had tried repeatedly to deliver the flowers to my friend for two days, but was not able to make contact with her. By the second day, she was concerned enough to call me to let me know she was concerned about the recipient of the flowers. What a sweet, kind human being! I live across the country and luckily have my friend's daughter's number, so I was able to reach out to make sure my friend was OK. Heather delivered the flowers once I called her back to tell her my friend was OK, and that she was home. With how busy she is around Mother's Day, Heather still took the time to keep trying to deliver the flowers, and to call me to let me know that she was concerned about my friend! I cannot say enough wonderful things about A Tilted Tulip! My grandma was recently taken to the hospital after having a heart attack, and we wanted to send her flowers to hopefully brighten her day. I placed my order online Sunday evening and, without realizing it, didn’t notice that the shop was closed on Mondays. Monday morning, the owner personally called me. She had noticed that the flowers were being delivered to a hospital and asked if I would prefer to have them delivered that day rather than waiting until Tuesday. I was absolutely blown away. That kind of thoughtfulness and compassion is so incredibly rare. She didn’t have to go above and beyond like that, but she did—and it meant more to our family than she probably realizes. The flowers were beautiful, but the kindness behind them meant even more. I will be using A Tilted Tulip anytime I need to send flowers to my grandma from now on.
